Pastry Ben does it again...

So for the past three months, our taste buds (but probably not our teeth) have been lucky enough to have Ben Russell as our Pastry Chef. From his Almond Tea Cakes with plum & raspberry sauces, candied lemon & blueberries to his Cajeta Caramel with apple confit and highly praised cinnamon churros  (see what Amy Pataki has to say about Ben's sweets here: http://www.thestar.com/living/article/145023)
Ben never lets down even the most discerning diner. 

But this time, he's really got me... launching a whole new dessert menu this evening, I don't know where to start. You'll have to come see it to believe it, but I'll give you a sneak peak!

Toronto Taste

This past Sunday, Chef Boehmer & some of our kitchen crew made it out to Toronto Taste for Second Harvest, a great charity that you can learn more about here: http://www.torontotaste.ca/second-harvest
He also brought his two kids along, and they loved it!

Ever eager to please, we're busy trying to get our boulevard patio license to give Ossington Ave the perfect spot to sip cocktails, eat a nice meal and soak up some glorious Vitamin D.

A night off...

If we're not working, we're probably eating. 

A big thank you to Chef Anthony Walsh for a delicious meal at Canoe last night. Service and food were phenomenal and the atmosphere was beautiful.
